Aviation-grade aluminum keeps the system strong and lightweight. The low-profile shape is designed to reduce air disturbance, wind noise and range impact compared with bulkier crossbars.

Integrated locks at both ends secure the crossbars to the vehicle. Keys are included, helping protect the rack while you are parked or far from home.

Does the Tesery Tesla roof rack lock in place?
Yes. Each tower has an integrated lock that secures the crossbars to the factory roof mounting points. The lock and key set is included.
Which Tesla models does this roof rack fit?
Vehicle-specific variants are available for Tesla Model Y Juniper (2025.3+), Model Y (2020–2025.2), Model 3 Highland (2024+) and Model 3 (2017–2023.10). Select the exact model and generation before adding to cart.
How much can the Tesla Model 3 or Model Y roof rack carry?
The maximum distributed load is 75 kg or 165 lb. The combined weight of the rack, carrier and cargo must stay within the vehicle manufacturer's permitted roof load.
Can I carry a roof box and bikes at the same time?
Yes, when the compatible attachments fit side by side and their combined system and cargo weight remains below the 75 kg / 165 lb limit.
Do I need to drill into the roof?
No. The rack installs at the Tesla factory mounting points. No drilling or permanent body modification is required. Soft pads and supplied PPF help protect the glass-roof area.
What tools are needed for installation?
A socket wrench is required and is included in the package, together with the fitting hardware, locks, keys and installation instructions.
Will a roof rack affect wind noise or driving range?
Any roof-mounted system can add aerodynamic drag. Tesery uses a low-profile aluminum shape to reduce air disturbance, but actual noise and range impact depend on speed, crosswinds, cargo and attached carriers. Removing unused carriers helps reduce drag.
Can one person install the rack?
The system is designed for owner installation, but a second person can help position the bars safely over the glass roof. Always follow the included instructions and re-check mounting security before travel.
