Q1 - Common Troubleshooting Guide

*Fault: Screen goes black after a few minutes of use and requires a reboot.
Solution : Use a USB drive with a capacity of 4-32GB to download the upgrade files to upgrade.

*Fault: Black Screen
Reason 1: The power supply fuse is burnt out.
Solution1: Replace the fuse of the same model.

Reason 2: Microprocessor abnormal operation caused by other factors.
Solution 2: Restart the key fob.

Reason 3: After unplugged the host connector, it is not plugged in within 5 minutes.
Solution 3: Connect all the wire harnesses, lock the car for 2 hours, keep the mobile phone and remote key more than 20 meters away from the car, and check whether the screen can be setup after 2 hours.

Reason 4: The host or screen plug is not plugged tightly.
Solution 4: Reconnect the host plug.

*Fault: The screen cannot be displayed after startup.
Reason 1: Screen data error.
Solution 1: Press the RST reset button on the right side of the screen to restart the system

*Fault: Unable to enter the navigation.
Reason 1: Navigation software is uninstalled or deleted.
Solution 1: Reinstall the navigation software.

*Fault: Navigation road condition information cannot be updated.
Reason 1: WIFI is not connected.
Solution 1: Connect WIFI to synchronize online map.

*Fault: Satellite receiving is not located.
Reason 1: GPS antenna position interferes.
Solution 1: Relocate the position.

*Fault: The original vehicle information is not synchronized or displayed.
Reason 1: The protocol wire of the power wire is not connected.
Solution 1: Reconnect the wire and check the wire interface.

*Fault: No image in front camera or can not access the front camera.
Reason 1: The protocol wire of the power wire is not connected.
Solution 1: Vehicle setting - Others - Turn on Front camera.

*Fault: 4G network cannot be connected.
Reason 1: Check whether the SIM card is loose or not inserted.
Solution 1: Re insert the SIM card and then restart again.

*Fault: Carplay can't connect after a period of time
Reason 1: Carplay did not connect in the correct way or the screen software version is outdated.
Solution 1: Reconnect Bluetooth or upgrade APP. Contact aftersale service to download the upgrade software.

*Fault: After Tesla upgraded, the screen is always on.
Reason 1: The system signal is not synchronized.
Solution 1: Unplug the power cable and reconnect.

*Fault: After a period of time, the front camera function disappears.
Reason 1: The camera has water ingress or the harness is aged and broken.
Solution 1: Replace the front camera.

Reason 2: The harness of camera is loose.
Solution 2: Reconnect the camera harness.
