A1 - Installation is a simple, no-drill process. The spoiler arrives with automotive-grade 3M adhesive already pre-applied. To get the strongest bond and best appearance, follow these steps (including using the adhesive enhancer we supply):

1, Prepare the surface
*Thoroughly clean the edge of the roof / trunk lid where the spoiler will go. Use isopropyl alcohol or a specialty prep pad to remove wax, oils, dirt, or residue.
*Make sure the surface is completely dry and at a moderate temperature (ideally 60–85 °F) so the adhesive can bond well.
*Optionally, apply the adhesive promoter / enhancer included in your kit. This helps activate the 3M adhesive and improve its grip, especially in challenging climates.

2, Test-fit and alignment
*Without peeling off all the tape yet, hold the spoiler in position and check its alignment with the edges and contours of the vehicle.
*Use masking tape or alignment marks to guide you so you don’t misplace it once adhesive is exposed.

3, Peel the adhesive backing (in stages)
*Peel off a small section of the backing (one side or one end) to start. Don’t remove the entire backing all at once.
*As you start applying the spoiler, gradually peel away more backing while keeping the rest of the spoiler off the surface until you’re ready to adhere it fully.

4, Apply the spoiler
*With one edge or section in place, gently press it down. Then work your way across gradually, pressing as you go so the adhesive contacts the paint.
*Use firm, even pressure along the entire length—especially the ends and corners—to make sure the tape fully bonds.

5, Final pressure and curing
*Press firmly along all edges and the center for at least 30–60 seconds.
*Avoid washing the car or exposing it to extreme weather for a full 24–48 hours so the adhesive can fully cure.

6, Check and maintain
*After installation, check that all edges are flush and there’s no lifting or gaps.
*If any edges begin to lift over time, you can carefully reapply pressure or use small touch adhesives as needed.

A2 - Yes. When installed correctly using the supplied high-bond 3M adhesive tape and following the temperature guidelines, the bond strength is exceptionally strong, capable of withstanding speeds far exceeding highway limits. We guarantee the structural integrity and fit of the product.

A3 - Yes, for performance enthusiasts. While the primary appeal is aesthetic, our spoiler is designed to create functional downforce at higher speeds. This improves rear-end grip and stability, particularly in curves, offering a subtle but noticeable improvement in handling feel that enhances driver confidence.

A4 - Any exterior accessory technically affects aerodynamics, but due to its light weight and optimized design that manages airflow separation, the effect on your overall Model Y range is negligible—far less than using a roof rack or large all-terrain wheels. This is a minimal trade-off for the significant aesthetic and stability gains.

A5 - The roof spoiler typically comes with a one-year limited warranty, covering manufacturing defects and material failures.In addition, we offer a 30-day return window (unused and original condition) so you can exchange or refund if it doesn’t meet expectations.

*Warranty coverage should include issues like cracking, adhesive failure, or delamination (under normal use).
*Exclusions will generally apply to damage from improper installation, accidents, or excessive heat/UV abuse.
