Tesla Unveils V4 Superchargers Down Under and Across Europe

Tesla is making strides in its global Supercharger network expansion, with the latest upgrade, the V4 Superchargers, making their way to various locations. In a recent development spotted by Tesla enthusiast Jules Boag, V4 Superchargers are currently under construction in Albury, New South Wales, Australia. Boag notes that this location, situated within the Commercial Club car park in Central Albury, boasts an impressive 16 stalls. While not operational as of now, Boag speculates that the V4 chargers might go live as early as next week.

Once operational, these V4 Superchargers will become the largest in the country, featuring cutting-edge technology that allows for a charging capacity of up to 350 kW. This represents a notable improvement over the more common V3 chargers, which offer up to 250 kW. Moreover, the V4 charging pile design includes longer cables, enhancing accessibility and convenience for Tesla owners.

Tesla has been steadily rolling out the V4 Superchargers globally, and Europe has been a focal point of this expansion. Recent updates from the Tesla Charging account have revealed new locations across the continent, including two V4 Superchargers in Spain (Marbella and Castellón), one in Wolvega, Netherlands, one in Carlswerk, Germany, and one in Wilsonville, Oregon, in the United States.
