Update, August 19, 2026: The early-December clip is a lab PR on Tesla Optimus’s own X account. It is not a factory rate. Tesla later kept moving production language (Tesery: timing slip). A Miami hospitality unit also fell when a headset came off the same week.
On December 2, 2025 the Tesla Optimus account posted a short video: “Just set a new PR in the lab.” Open the original X post. The next day the account quote-tweeted a 2.5-year progress montage. That is Tesla showing a lab personal record. It is not mass production, not unsupervised factory work, and not a spec Tesla wrote under the clip (no DoF count in that post). Treat extra numbers from recap blogs as unverified unless Tesla printed them on the same post.
