by LILucky on Mar 28, 2023

The Tesla wipers can be turned on either through the central control display or through the lever on the left side of the steering wheel. The following describes how to open and use the Tesla wiper:

1. The central control display is turned on:

Directly click the front wiper icon in the vehicle status area of the central control screen. When the color is displayed in blue, it proves that the wiper is on, and the gray is the state of the wiper off.

On the central control display, you can adjust the different working frequencies of the wiper, click the wiper button on the central control screen, and then you can see the frequency of different gears, and then adjust the wiper frequency according to your needs.

Generally, Tesla's wiper frequency has four different gears, namely intermittent slow gear, intermittent fast gear, continuous slow gear and continuous fast gear.

2. Open the lever:

On the lever on the left side of the steering wheel, there will be a shortcut switch button at the top, and the wiper can be turned on directly through this shortcut button.

1. Just press this button once, and the wiper will start once;

2. Long press this switch, the wiper will spray water and clean the front windshield;

3. Push up the lever, the wiper will only work left and right once, and push the lever down to adjust the working speed of the wiper. Generally, there are three speeds: slow/medium/fast;

4. Push the lever net in the direction of the driver, the front windshield wiper will spray water, and wipe once on the left and right; push it away from the driver, the rear windshield wiper will spray water and wipe once.

What is the reason why the Tesla wipers keep brushing even when it is not raining?

This situation may generally be caused by turning on the manual wiper. Once the manual wiper is started, the wiper will be in a working state, regardless of whether it is raining or not, and whether there is water on the front windshield.

To solve this problem, the driver only needs to click the wiper icon on the central control screen, enter the control panel, and then choose to turn off the manual wiper.
