Necessary operation manual for Tesla newbie

If you are a new owner or prospective owner of Tesla! These main function settings must be learned!

 

1. Set novice driving mode

Acceleration mode: comfortable
Steering mode: comfortable
Stop mode: slow travel
(Especially for the drivers who transfer oil vehicles to EV, they should adapt to it first, and then adjust the single pedal)

 

2. Set the car key:

Card key: Add the card key first
 
Mobile phone key: Then add the commonly used mobile phone as the mobile phone key (in the Bluetooth enabled state, take the mobile phone near the vehicle, the door will be automatically unlocked)

Download the Tesla APP on your phone first -- sit in your car, open the Tesla app, select the appropriate vehicle (if there are multiple cars associated with the account), Click on "Phone Key -- Start" Scan the certified card key or remote key on the key reader behind the cup holder at the top of the center console click on "Done" when the phone app alerts you of a successful pairing.

 

3. Set child lock: if you have children at home, you must set it properly

Opening method: touch screen - click control - car lock - child lock

PS. When parking in P gear, the door will automatically unlock.

 

4. Wash the car correctly

Car washing mode: after changing the mode to open, it can prevent the charging port from automatically opening due to water column pressure. Effectively prevent water from entering the charging port!
Opening mode: control - service - car wash mode

 

5. Turn on biochemical mode

The new car inevitably smells, and the biochemical model can evolve!
Opening method: open the air-conditioning adjustment page - click the biochemical mode button
Disadvantages: It consumes power

 

6. Turn on sentry mode

Take care of the new car when you get it.
The disadvantage is that the sentry mode consumes more electricity

 

7. Adjusting headlights

Tesla's headlights are generally bright, so in order to avoid dazzling others, you can adjust to the appropriate position by yourself.
Adjustment position: click Maintenance on the central control screen - select to adjust headlights - select left and right - control the steering wheel wheel

 

8. Emergency

[Display screen] If the large screen goes out, the operation is jammed, and the machine crashes, don't panic. The control and driving of the vehicle will not be affected.
Solution: On the premise of ensuring driving safety, park the vehicle slowly in a safe position, and press the wheel buttons on the left and right sides of the steering wheel to restart the operation until the Tesla "T" sign appears on the screen.
[Emergency braking] On the road, no matter what driving mode you open, you can press the brake pedal vigorously to brake in time.
