How does the R‑Foot Armor actually protect my device?
The case operates on a dedicated "sacrificial geometry" system. The four corners are reinforced, 1.8× thicker, and sit 4 mm higher than the face of the device. During any drop, the impact force is captured exclusively by these R‑Feet. Inside, six progressive lateral shock ribs buckle sequentially to dampen the physical energy, keeping your Starlink Mini suspended and free of shock transfer.
Will this silicone case cause my Starlink Mini to overheat?
No. Heat dissipation was a non‑negotiable architectural priority. The case integrates a large trapezoidal open window that exposes the entire central heatsink directly to passive ambient air. This setup, paired with dual side ventilation channels, allows continuous convective cooling, letting the active thermal shield function as if the Starlink Mini were completely bare.
Can I still use the original mounting bracket and other accessories?
Absolutely. The open rear geometry is precision‑engineered to clear all motion paths of the official Starlink Kickstand, allowing you to fold, unfold, and adjust it normally. It also maintains unhindered access to VESA mounting patterns, so you can continue using third‑party wall, pole, or surface mounts.
Is the material durable, or will it get sticky and yellow over time outdoors?
This case is molded from premium, UV‑stabilized liquid silicone, entirely avoiding the cheap plastics or low‑grade TPU that oxidize and yellow. It has been thoroughly tested for over 1,000 hours of continuous high‑exposure UV‑A testing with zero yellowing, cracking, or surface stickiness, even inside punishing desert or alpine environments.
