After a drive through insect-heavy roads or leafy surroundings, debris can collect behind the front bumper. A fine mesh across the lower opening helps intercept insects and leaves before they travel further inside.

Does it replace the original grille?
No. It is an accessory fitted at the existing lower grille opening. Match the shape and mounting areas to your vehicle before installation.
Will it affect airflow?
The mesh has open passages for air, but an added screen can introduce resistance, especially when dirty. There is no verified airflow or thermal test quoted for this product. Keep the mesh clear and follow your vehicle's cooling and maintenance guidance.
Can I take the mesh out for cleaning?
Yes. The left and right mesh inserts are removable from their matching outer frames. Release them carefully, remove debris and reinstall securely after cleaning and drying.
Is it a stone-impact shield?
It is intended to help intercept everyday insects, leaves and loose debris. It is not sold with a verified stone-impact rating or a guarantee against radiator damage.
Will it fit every Model Y?
No. This listing is for the Juniper / Model YL configuration shown, not a universal Model Y grille. Model Y Performance is not compatible. For Standard and other configurations, check the actual bumper, lower intake and camera layout before ordering.
