The Megachargers stand out from regular Supercharger stalls due to their larger physical size. Moreover, their charging cables differ significantly, as they feature a distinctive square-shaped plug specifically designed for the Tesla Semi. Unlike the North American Charging Standard (NACS) plug seen in regular Superchargers, these connectors cater to the unique needs of the electric truck.
Interestingly, the observed Megacharger installation in Baker, California, seemed to be in a location more suitable for smaller vehicles, such as the Cybertruck, designed for consumers.
