In the week of December 15–19, 2025, Cybercab-shaped cars showed up in more than one place: Tesla’s Santana Row store in San Jose (Nic Cruz Patane’s walkaround), social-media clips of a unit with a steering wheel near Apple’s visitor center in California, Fremont test-track footage, and downtown Austin. Teslarati-style recaps bundled those into “production-ready tests accelerating.” What they show is Tesla iterating the two-seater in public and on its own lot — with a driver and a wheel on the street cars.

Paid Robotaxi in late 2025 was still Model Y-based. Tesery’s Austin ~20-car count is that service. Cybercab is the purpose-built body.
