Side Mirror Assembly for Tesla Model 3 / Model Y
TESERY · Replacement parts
A clear view.
Starts with the right match.
New aftermarket side mirror assemblies for Tesla Model 3 and Model Y. Choose your vehicle generation, original auto-dimming function and required side.
Choose the matching replacement. Identify your vehicle generation, match the complete original mirror number and connector, then select its auto-dimming function and Left (LH) or Right (RH). Each order contains one selected side. This is a new aftermarket replacement.
The compatibility check
Your model.
Your year group.
| Vehicle version | Model-year group |
|---|---|
| Model 3 · early version | 2017–2020 |
| Model 3 · updated version | 2021–2023 |
| Model 3 Highland | 2024+ |
| Model Y | 2020–2024 |
Use this table to identify your vehicle generation, then match the original mirror label and connector. The year group does not identify the auto-dimming configuration: Model 3 vehicles built in 2020 include both configurations. Keep Highland separate from the earlier Model 3 when matching parts. Model Y Juniper and Model YL are outside this guide.
Model and generation.
Identify the generation using the table above. For a car near a model change, use its original mirror label and hardware to identify the replacement; registration year alone is not enough.
Every character matters.
Photograph the complete label on the existing mirror, including its revision suffix. Use the OE reference families 1110784 and 1609790 as a starting point. See the OE reference section below, then match the full number, revision suffix and side on your original mirror.
Match the actual hardware.
Compare plug shape, keying, populated pins, wiring and mounting base. A blue connector or similar-looking housing is not sufficient evidence of an electrical or mechanical match.
Keep the feature set aligned.
First confirm whether your original exterior mirror glass automatically darkens to reduce glare. Select With auto-dimming or Without auto-dimming accordingly. Also match the existing adjustment, heating, folding and memory functions.
Choose your version
Match the part.
Then choose the side.
Start with the vehicle generation and year group above, match the original mirror’s auto-dimming function, then select the side. Auto-dimming means the exterior mirror glass darkens automatically to reduce glare from headlights behind you. It does not mean heating or power folding, and it is not a Tesla trim level.
| Vehicle and original mirror | Available side |
|---|---|
| Model 3 Without auto-dimming |
Left (LH) or Right (RH) |
| Model 3 With auto-dimming |
Left (LH) or Right (RH) |
| Model Y With auto-dimming |
Left (LH) or Right (RH) |
Preserve the function your car already has. Versions with and without auto-dimming use different harness specifications. A mismatch can leave auto-dimming disconnected. Match the connector and populated terminals as well as the function; this assembly is not an auto-dimming retrofit kit. A Model Y version without auto-dimming is not offered in this listing.
Left and right are defined while seated in the car, facing forward. “Driver side” changes between left- and right-hand-drive vehicles. LH/RH identifies the mirror side, not the steering-wheel position. LHD means the steering wheel is on the left; RHD means it is on the right. Choose the physical side of the car, then match the original assembly and glass specification. Regional glass versions can differ in curvature and field of view; steering-wheel position alone does not identify the mirror specification. Each side is a separate purchase.
OE reference numbers
Find the number.
Check the whole label.
These are the OE reference families named in the supplier listing. They help identify the part you are researching; use the complete original number and revision suffix to identify the required assembly.
Model 3 reference
1110784Compare the full original number and revision suffix. This family is seen on right-hand mirror assemblies; it must not be used as the reference for both sides.
Model Y reference
1609790Compare the full original number and revision suffix. This family is seen on left-hand mirror assemblies. The corresponding right-hand family seen in published listings is 1609791; confirm the exact replacement separately.
A partial number is a starting point. For example, in 1110784-00-F, the -00-F suffix is part of the identification. This example explains how to read a label; it does not confirm that every variant here replaces that revision. Send a clear photo of the full label, required side and connector before ordering.
OE numbers are cross-reference information only. This product is new aftermarket, not a genuine Tesla part.
The connector check
Same function.
Matching connection.
Auto-dimming depends on compatible glass, wiring and controls. A plug that looks similar—or has the same number of cavities—does not prove that its terminals and wiring match.
Show the terminals.
Have your installer photograph the disconnected plug straight on, with the latch at the top. Capture every populated metal terminal and empty cavity. Count terminals, not just holes.
Keep the context.
Take a second photo of the latch, keyed shape and wires entering the connector, plus a photo of the complete mirror label. Include any additional connectors. This helps distinguish similar housings.
Why we do not use “11-pin / 13-pin” as the selector. Public mirror listings show both counts across different versions, but a pin count alone does not establish auto-dimming compatibility. Check the populated metal terminals, plug keying and original auto-dimming function together. The overview photograph shows the assembly; use a clear connector-face view to identify the terminal layout.
For connector location and disconnection context, see the Tesla Model 3 mirror service illustrations. These are service references, not a specification sheet for this aftermarket assembly.
Know the assembly
See the structure.
Scope the repair.
The reference photographs show mirror glass, a black surround, a mounting base and an attached wiring harness. The rear carrier is exposed.
A painted outer cap is not shown. Confirm whether your repair can reuse the existing cap or needs a separate cap, and confirm any extra hardware before ordering. If only the glass or cap is damaged, have an installer check whether a complete assembly is necessary.

Before installation
A considered repair.
From selection to setup.
- Confirm the replacement. Match the production-year group, full part label, connector, side and original functions before ordering. Both left-hand-drive and right-hand-drive layouts are supported.
- Inspect on arrival. Check the glass, mounting points and connector against the original unit before fitting, painting or modifying any part.
- Use the correct service procedure. A qualified installer should confirm any cap transfer, firmware, calibration and function-check requirements for your vehicle and replacement revision.
Tesla’s current 2020–2024 Model Y replacement procedure includes firmware and mirror calibration checks. Requirements depend on the vehicle and mirror revision; this listing does not promise universal plug-and-play installation. View the Model Y service reference.

Questions before checkout
A few things worth checking.
Does the year tell me which auto-dimming option to choose?
No. The year groups identify vehicle generations; the original exterior mirror identifies the function you need. Model 3 vehicles built during 2020 include both dimming and non-dimming mirrors. Select the function already fitted to your car and match the complete original part number and connector. Long Range, Performance and a heated-glass symbol do not identify the auto-dimming circuit.
How do I choose with or without auto-dimming?
Match the function of your original exterior mirror glass. Choose With auto-dimming if it has the automatic glare-reducing dimming function; choose Without auto-dimming if it does not. A blue tint, heated-glass symbol, power folding or Tesla trim name does not establish auto-dimming. If uncertain, have your installer verify the original glass, label and wiring before selecting.
Does 11-pin or 13-pin tell me whether it will fit?
No. Compare the actual populated terminals, their positions, connector shape and keying, complete part number, side and existing functions. Different harness specifications can prevent auto-dimming from connecting. Do not select from pin count alone or alter the wiring to force a match.
How do I choose a side on a left-hand-drive or right-hand-drive car?
Sit in the car and face forward: Left (LH) is the car's left side and Right (RH) is its right side. Use these fixed side names when ordering. For the replacement specification, match the original assembly number, connector and mirror glass; regional glass curvature can differ even when the housings look alike.
Is this a genuine Tesla OEM part?
No. It is a new aftermarket replacement part. Tesla names and part references are used for application identification only.
Is the price for one mirror or a pair?
The price is per selected side: one mirror assembly. Left and right are separate variants. Photographs are representative; confirm the exact glass, cap and hardware supplied for the matched version.
Will it add functions my car did not have?
This is a replacement-part listing, not a feature-upgrade kit. Vehicle wiring, controls, mirror hardware and software all affect function compatibility.
What should I know about shipping and returns?
Confirm delivery eligibility and charges for your destination at checkout. Duties and remote-area conditions may apply. Inspect the part before fitting or modification. Read the shipping policy and complete return policy, including exclusions and fees, before ordering. Contact TESERY before returning any item.
Ready to find the right match?
Start with your existing mirror.
Send your vehicle generation, production year, required mirror side, existing auto-dimming function, full part label and connector-face photos. Keep the details together so the correct version can be checked.
