Heated Mirror Glass Pair for Tesla Model 3 (2017–2023)

Cracked mirror glass? Keep your working housing and adjustment motor. Replace the glass with a heated left-and-right set, complete with backing plates.

A cracked or damaged mirror face.
Your housing is secure, the mirror adjusts normally and the glass mounting mechanism is intact. This set replaces the mirror glass and the backing plates.
A broken housing or adjustment mechanism.
A glass insert will not repair a damaged motor, folding mechanism or mirror housing. Repair those components before fitting new glass.

Keeping factory auto-dimming? Choose electrochromic mirror glass. This set provides heating with a Clear or fixed Blue Tint finish; it does not electronically darken.

- 2023 changeover
- Tesla's parts catalogue separates “Model 3 Jun 2017 – Aug 2023” from “Model 3 Sep 2023.” For a 2023 car, use the vehicle's generation and build date, rather than its registration year.
- Glass size
- Approximately 16.5 × 11.5 cm. Includes the plastic backing plate shown below.
- Other generations
- Model 3 Highland and Model Y use a different application. Choose a glass set listed for those vehicles.

Two terminals.
One heating function.
The two metal terminals power the heating element behind the mirror face. The circular backing attaches to the mirror adjuster. The close-up below shows the back of this replacement glass.
Two individual heater wires.
Each wire connects to a heater terminal. Both Clear and Blue Tint include these two terminals.
A separate electrical connection.
Original electrochromic glass has an additional dimming connection. A blue tint does not replace that electronic function.
What the OE number
tells you.
LH and RH mean the vehicle's left and right sides when facing forward. They do not mean left-hand or right-hand drive. Tesla also distinguishes Domestic and Export glass, so steering-wheel position alone does not identify the mirror specification.

EC means electrochromic auto-dimming; NEC or Non-EC identifies glass without that function. When preserving an original optical or auto-dimming specification, use the complete original part number, including its suffix.

Protect the housing and release the old glass.
Follow Tesla's mirror-glass removal procedure. Use a suitable plastic trim tool and support the glass as the clips release.

Connect the heater wires.
Fit the two individual heater wires onto the heater terminals. Keep wiring clear of the mounting clips. An auto-dimming connector is a separate circuit.

Seat the backing and test the mirror.
Press evenly over the backing until fully seated. Check secure attachment, adjustment and heating, then set the view while parked.
For broken glass, use eye protection and cut-resistant gloves. Professional fitting is recommended.

Is the price for a pair?
Yes. Each finish option includes one left and one right mirror-glass insert with backing plates.
Does Blue Tint automatically darken at night?
No. It is a fixed blue finish. Choose electrochromic glass if automatic dimming is essential to your repair.
Are these genuine Tesla parts?
These are new aftermarket mirror-glass replacements for Tesla Model 3.
Does the set include a mirror motor or outer cover?
No. You receive the glass inserts and backing plates. The existing housing, motor and mounting mechanism remain on the car.
