Will installing this kit void my official Tesla warranty?+
Our V3 kit utilizes 100% plug-and-play non-destructive wiring harnesses. No original factory cabling needs to be stripped, spliced, or modified, making the installation fully reversible to stock status at any time. Non-destructive aftermarket systems generally do not affect vehicle comprehensive warranty coverages, but please consult your local Tesla Service Center rules.
If my vehicle loses battery power completely, can passengers still open the doors?+
Yes, absolutely. The design fully maintains the mechanical fail-safe override integration. In case of complete electrical failure or power loss, you can manually press the leading edge of the handle to tilt it mechanically, just like default OEM handles. There is zero risk of being locked out of the cabin.
Will frequent daily opening/closing cycles drain my Tesla's low-voltage battery?+
Not at all. The V3 central controller utilizes advanced deep sleep protocols. When your vehicle locks up and falls asleep, the handle sensors draw less than 0.2A standby currentâequivalent to native original sensors, ensuring absolutely zero auxiliary battery drain.
Do the integrated handle LEDs stay illuminated permanently in the dark?+
No. The RGB lighting elements employ smart synchronization telemetry. They only light up dynamically when the vehicle detects an approaching key, during handle presentation, or while a door is actively open. They will turn off automatically once the vehicle locks or is shifted into gear.
