Open the glove box Press inward on both sides to release the stop arms and lower the panel fully.

Pull the old filter Slide the housing cover off and remove the existing filter cartridge.

Does it fit both the standard Model Y and the Juniper refresh?+
Yes. The filter is precision-molded for all Model Y variants from 2020 onward, including the Juniper refresh (2025.03+). The dimensions and housing clip pattern match both generations exactly.
Will the cabin still smell after the fragrance insert runs out?+
Once the insert is spent, the filter continues to perform as a standard HEPA-grade cabin filter — no scent, no residue, no off-odors. Simply swap in a new fragrance insert to restore the scent without replacing the full filter body.
Can I choose a different scent when I replace the insert?+
Yes. The replacement inserts are sold individually by scent, so you can switch from Ocean Breeze to White Tea — or any other combination — with each new insert.
How do I know when the fragrance insert needs replacing?+
Each insert is rated for approximately 3 months under normal use. The scent gradually fades rather than stopping abruptly — when you notice it's no longer detectable through the vents, it's time to swap. No indicator light required.
Is the scent too strong? Can it cause headaches?+
The slow-release granule system is designed to deliver a subtle, ambient level of fragrance — not the intense initial burst you get from a traditional car air freshener. The scent is consistent and low-level, dispersed evenly through the full airflow rather than concentrated at one point.
Does it require any cutting, drilling, or permanent changes?+
None. It replaces the existing filter cartridge in the standard housing — same slot, same cover, no modifications. Remove it at any time and reinstall the OEM filter. The car returns to stock immediately.

    • For returns initiated due to personal preferences (e.g., change of mind, dissatisfaction with the color or style), a 15% restocking fee will be applied, and the customer is responsible for covering the return shipping costs.

7. Refunds & Exchanges

  • Refunds:

    • For the fastest way to ensure you get what you want, we recommend that you return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Please be advised that if an order is placed due to an accidental click and is subsequently refunded, a 5% transaction fee will be deducted from the refund amount. This fee is charged by the payment processor, not by TESERY. Therefore, the refunded amount will be less than the original payment.
