U.S. owners can buy a Full Self-Driving (Supervised) gift card — Tesla’s support page describes a one-month option, redeemable in the Tesla app (version 4.51.1 or later) on an eligible vehicle. That is narrower than the 1-/3-/6-month mix fans asked for in November 2025.
On November 3, 2025, Tesla executive Raj Jegannathan replied on X that Tesla would have FSD (Supervised) gifting “ready before holidays.” The prompt came from owners asking to buy a subscription for someone else. Tesla North reported the exchange the same day.

How gifting was supposed to work
The November idea was simple: pay for 1, 3, or 6 months of FSD on someone else’s eligible Tesla. Jegannathan’s “before holidays” note was a schedule, not a spec sheet.
