This dynamic color offering was a part of Tesla's innovative initiative to develop and introduce fresh color options, breaking away from its traditional palette. Alongside Midnight Cherry Red, the striking Quicksilver hue was also unveiled, both of which are exclusively produced at Gigafactory Berlin, home to what Elon Musk hailed as the "world's most advanced" paint shop.

Elon Musk underscored the uniqueness of these colors, stating, "Only Giga Berlin can make these colors," emphasizing the intricacy achieved by applying multiple delicate layers of paint—a level of complexity that was previously unattainable.

Initially limited to the Model Y Performance variant, the allure of Midnight Cherry Red has extended to encompass other configurations of the all-electric crossover, significantly broadening its availability. Beyond its initial launch in mainland Europe, this captivating color has now found its way to new horizons, including the bustling cities of Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.

Achraf Mess, Tesla's Senior Customer Specialist, proudly shared glimpses of the Midnight Cherry Red Model Y on display in showrooms across the region. He expressed, "Our brand-new Model Y Midnight Cherry Red just arrived in our Dubai and Abu Dhabi stores!  Developed in our advanced paint shop at Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg, the color is designed to accentuate your Model Y under every sky. From bright highlights to dark tones, our multi-coat paint adds a new dimension that subtly changes with curvature as you walk around your Tesla."

Back in May, Tesla confirmed its plan to bring this captivating color to the Middle East in 2023.
