Subsequent updates from Starlink's official X account revealed that over 650 satellite internet kits have been dispatched to more than 40 organizations actively involved in recovery operations across the island.

"Quick update from Maui: A very productive day in Lahaina. After assessing the situation, communication emerged as a pressing need in many areas. With numerous power lines down and limited connectivity, we purchased 20 Starlink systems to establish internet connections. Today, we successfully installed multiple systems and will continue to set up more in the coming days," the organization shared.
