Update, August 19, 2026: The December 2025 shop SKU is a one-month FSD (Supervised) gift card, sold in the U.S. It is not unsupervised, not a free month for every VIN, and not a transfer of the $8,000 / $12,000 purchase package. In the first week of December 2025 Tesla put a One Month Full Self-Driving (Supervised) Gift Card in the Tesla Shop and in the app Shop tab. Tesla’s own support page explains the card is emailed, redeemed with a code, and is a one-month introduction to FSD (Supervised). Tesla FSD gift-card support. Shop listing. Not a Tesla App (Dec. 8) and Drive Tesla Canada (Dec. 6) said the U.S. price was $112 — the $99 monthly subscription plus up to 13% tax. That is a paid month of Supervised software. It is not Robotaxi, and it is not a hardware upgrade.

A month vs a household name
Tesla had teased gifting before Christmas. The live SKU is narrower than the old magazine headline (“coolest gift idea ever”). Recipients still have to supervise.
